About
Dr. Ajit Ramrao Thete is a nationally recognised academician, policy architect, and education reformer. Holding qualifications spanning B.E. (Civil), M.Tech. (Education), M.E. (Water Resources), MBA (HR), Ph.D., and FIE, he represents one of India's most multi-disciplinary education leaders.
His government career at the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra saw him rise to Joint Director before moving to Deputy Secretary at MSBTE, Mumbai — shaping curriculum policy, institutional accreditation, and the roadmap of technical education at state level.
Today, as Pro Vice Chancellor at JSPM University, Pune, and through First Foundation, he continues to guide institutions across India on outcome-based education, accreditation, faculty development, and strategic planning.

Established new universities in Maharashtra and Bihar. Set up India's first PPP Aircraft Maintenance Institute and an Advanced Diploma with Mercedes-Benz Germany.
Trained 2500+ faculty across India in curriculum development, instructional design, pedagogy, and strategic planning through 50+ national training programmes.
